...........I have recently had a few trips to Teignmouth but unfortunately the port does not seem to be very busy at the moment. Many of the ships that are in and out are 'regulars' to the port and to Plymouth. Also, the weather has not been very favourable during this summer for photographing! I may well find some more older black and white photographs of some interest in my collection to show soon on the Teignmouth page. A few have emailed in response to the 'Greenergy' page - it is good to know that this is of interest, thank you! Thank you also to Bert (Germany) and Johanne (Holland) for enquiring about prints - I have emailed with details. Their respect regarding the copyright is much appreciated. An idea for the future - Naval Ships page? Once again, thanks to those of you who kindly email with even the smallest detail or information. Sorry if your email has not been answered just yet but I will do this as soon as time permits. Dave Warren 16.10.09. P.S. A few of you have asked why the Marida Mallow needed assistance from tugs on her arrival in Plymouth. I understand that this was because this class of tanker is not as manoeuvrable as others. Also, the Fowey tug was already working in Plymouth at the time and was available for use. DJW - 18.10.09.
